Definitely 1 of three of my favorite places for a hard roll/bun. I also picked up an apple pie that was pretty damn good too. These buns last about a week which is handy for a guy like me that'll eat them all week long. Johnston's bakery is the one other place that they last a week and are still good.
Always grabs some sweets from here when we are in town, best pies!
When I'm in Sheboygan, I have to stop by Fuzzy's and get some hard rolls. I can't find anything like them out of town. I'd love to franchise West Side Bakery 🤔

My hard roll addiction is getting hard to justify to my wife. Luckily they haven't told her, or I'd be forced to get her some too. I like them moist and fresh, after too long they get hard, which is fair because it's easy to moisten in an oven with a wet cloth. They're not bad soggy though, so, sometimes I get lazy and just dip them in a bowl of water if I left them on the counter too long

Some of the best donuts in the area. It is sadly becoming rare to see sweet (pun intended) local bakeries like this so I make sure to go here as often as I can. Great location too.
I'm a donut connoisseur from St. Louis, and I tried a few shops around Sheboygan while I was in town visiting relatives. West Side was my favorite of the three. The stand outs were the Homer donut, the cruller, and the fried glazed croissant. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. The donuts were fresh and delicious!
